Education in my eyes
Education is the wheel to promote the progress of human society, education is a great cause to create the future, and education is an indispensable "nutrition" to promote our vigorous growth. We have been receiving all kinds of education since childhood.
With the growth of age, the ideal education in my heart is also changing imperceptibly, and each stage is different. When I was in primary school, I hoped I could play happily with my children every day without worrying about my homework. The education I hope in middle school is to be able to study only the courses I like, to do what I want independently, and not to sigh repeatedly because of the exam results. When I was in college, I hoped that education could expand my knowledge and improve my ability, so that I could step into the society better without hesitating to find a job. .
I think the ideal education should be based on happiness, and pay attention to the cultivation of habits and the learning and accumulation of methods in the process of education.
The first is happiness, because only happiness can make us interested, and only with interest can we have the motivation to keep learning. With this motivation, we can realize what we really want. Faced with increasingly fierce and cruel social competition and increasingly severe employment pressure, most parents are now worried about the difficulties and pressures their children will encounter in their future lives, so that their children can live a superior life in the future and be better than others. Expect too much from children, and put children who should fly freely like birds in a cage closed by so-called interest classes and training classes, putting heavy shackles on children, thinking that it is for their own future, regardless of their wishes. Forgetting the fable of "encouraging small plants" makes children lose a happy childhood in life, and what they get is often the result of extremes meet. In fact, if children are given a proper choice, they will devote 100% enthusiasm to what they choose, study with a happy mood, and enjoy happiness in their study. This is the best form of education.
Secondly, I think we should pay attention to the formation of habits.
1978, 75 Nobel Prize winners met in Paris. Someone asked one of them, "What you learned in which university and laboratory is the most important?" Unexpectedly, a white-haired scholar replied, "It was in kindergarten." Ask again: "What did you learn in kindergarten?" The scholar replied: "Give half of your things to your friends; Don't take things that are not your own; Put things in order, wash your hands before meals and rest after lunch; Apologize for doing something wrong; Learn to think more and observe nature carefully. Fundamentally speaking, all the things I have learned are these. " The scholar's answer represents the general view of the participating scientists. To sum up the general view of scientists, they think that the most important thing they have learned in their life is the good habits cultivated by kindergarten teachers. When it comes to habits, Bacon said with deep feelings: "Habits are really a tenacious and huge force that can dominate a person's life. Therefore, people should cultivate a good habit through education from an early age. " A year's plan lies in spring, and a day's plan lies in morning. Childhood often plays a decisive role in life, so I think cultivating good habits is the most ideal educational content in my childhood.
Finally, I think we should pay attention to the learning and accumulation of methods.
Methods include learning methods and life methods. As the old saying goes, "those who get the law get twice the result with half the effort, and those who lose the law get twice the result with half the effort." Learning is a hard and complicated mental work. Only by mastering the learning methods can we really apply what we have learned. It is better to teach people to fish than to teach them to fish. The ideal education should be teaching methods, not just asking questions about the sea. Education is not only the imparting of knowledge, but also the cultivation of life and the inheritance of traditional virtues of the Chinese nation. Today, with the rapid development of material life, our education lacks quality education and responsibility education. Nowadays, most of us are only children, often too egoistic, only looking at other people's mistakes, demanding perfection from teachers and never reviewing our own behavior. For example, students can sleep in class, and teachers can't. Students don't have to hand in their homework, but teachers can't refuse approval. Therefore, I think the ideal education should establish the concept of responsibility. Teachers should better educate students because of the responsibility of educating people, and students should study better because of repaying their parents and teachers' responsibilities of the times. Teaching learn from each other and make progress together. This kind of education is a successful education. So I think the learning and accumulation of methods in adult education is my ideal educational content.
