I. Introduction to the College

The School of Educational Science, where the major of Pedagogy Principles is located, has 10 departments, institutes and centers, including the Department of Education, the Department of Preschool Education, the Department of Curriculum and Teaching, the Department of Special Education, the College of Higher Education, the School of International and Comparative Education, the School of Educational History, the School of Education Management, the College of Basic Education and the Teaching and Research Center of Pedagogy. ?

The overall strength of the college discipline ranks in the forefront of the country. The first-level discipline of pedagogy was rated as Grade A in the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, and was approved as the key discipline of climbing the peak in Guangdong Province, and was selected as the leading discipline of the key construction discipline group of high-level universities in Guangdong Province and the key construction discipline of "world-class discipline" in Guangdong Province.

The college has a doctoral degree authorization point for the first-class discipline of education and a postdoctoral research mobile station. The college is the first batch of pilot units for postgraduate education with master's degree in education, the first batch of pilot units for postgraduate education with doctor's degree in education and the pilot unit for comprehensive reform of postgraduate education with professional degree in education of the Ministry of Education.
