Zhang Xuefeng's way of speaking is humorous, but what he said is true in real life. In fact, every major has its uses, depending on where you use it and whether you use what you have learned. That's all that matters. Every era has products, and so does our major. Time is changing, and each major has its own existence time. You can't say that comparing the majors decades ago with the present society is of no comparative value. The previous major was very popular in the past, but now the times are different. Remember this sentence: there is no bad major, it depends on how you look at him and how you use him.

Let's jump back and say that journalism is still useful to me, but it's not very useful unless you want to go to that kind of news agency. After all, this kind of diploma is more popular in this workplace. Why did I say it was useful? Because in the past few years, the development of self-media has been constantly changing. If you want to make self-media better, there are still some things that are helpful in this major, but not many.

Personally, I really don't need to study this major. It is better to apply for a major that is convenient for future employment, or learn a major that you want to develop your career in the future, so that you can invisibly promote your willingness to learn. In any case, we need to improve our competitiveness through continuous study, practice and broadening our horizons.
