Chongqing Jiulongpo Vocational Education Center was founded in 1948, formerly known as Zhide Middle School, located in Hangu Town, Jiulongpo District. The school is a key secondary vocational school at the city (provincial) level, a key experimental school of the Ministry of Education, a "civilized etiquette demonstration school", a "civilized unit", a skill appraisal station of Chongqing Information Industry Bureau, a rural labor force transfer training base, a designated training base for international expatriate laborers in Chongqing, a demonstration base for minors' activities in Chongqing, and a national defense education base in Jiulongpo District.
