Wang Renkan's historical merits and demerits
His son Wang Suzhou's suicide note contains poems before his death, among which "Fu of Pity for Yin" and "Fu of Looking for Food and Clothing" are the most widely circulated. His excellent regular script method is treasured by the world, and his "Thousand-character Text" post is a copy model for learners.

Under the influence of Wang Renkan's family education, many outstanding talents appeared in later generations. The fourth son, General Xiao, raised money at a loss to sponsor the Revolution of 1911. His eldest son, Xiao Ji, was the director of education in Fujian Province, his third son, Xiao Zuo, was the director of Liaoning Industry, and his granddaughter, Shi Jing, was the dean of South China Women's College. His nephew Ying Shi is a famous modern writer. After the liberation of Shi Rui, he served as the deputy director of Fujian Provincial Communications Department. Shi Xiang is a famous naturalist in China. Many younger generations are engaged in cultural and scientific work and have made outstanding contributions at home and abroad.
