Where is the fairness of education reflected?
Abstract: Education is directly related to the immediate interests and realistic aspirations of hundreds of millions of people. Educational equity is an important foundation of social equity. Only by constantly promoting the fruits of educational development to benefit all the people more fairly can social equity be truly realized. Education equity is the proper meaning of Socialism with Chinese characteristics, and it is also an indispensable distinctive feature of education in China.

Let all people learn to teach, let everyone have equal opportunities to change their destiny through education, realize their dreams in life, and have the opportunity to shine in life.

Running a fair and high-quality education is a century-long plan and a great cause of carrying forward the past into the future. At present, the main contradiction in the field of education can be summarized as the contradiction between the growing educational demand of the people and the unbalanced, insufficient and low-quality development of education itself.

Only by proceeding from the national conditions, social conditions, school conditions, teaching conditions and people's feelings, following the law of educational development and making a scientific and comprehensive plan, can we hope to solve it fundamentally. China's large population, weak economic strength, unbalanced regional development and weak educational foundation make the development of fair and high-quality education face many difficulties and challenges.

It is necessary to correctly analyze the situation, grasp the main contradictions, and formulate short-,medium-and long-term goals realistically. In particular, we should scientifically handle the relationship between fairness and quality, the relationship between urban education and rural education, and the relationship between education in developed areas and education in backward areas.

Handle the relationship between basic education and higher education, academic education and vocational education, mass education and characteristic education, ideological and political education and professional education. We should spare no effort to take fewer detours and ramps in education, pay unnecessary costs, and strive to achieve rapid catch-up and comprehensive breakthrough on a fair and high-quality track.
