In August 2022, the Energy Storage School was transformed into a public school directly under the Haishu District Education Bureau, and all the original famous backbone teachers were retained.
In April, 2023, Haishu District Education Bureau and Ningbo Xiaoshi Middle School, on the basis of jointly running energy storage schools, continued to deepen the contents of running schools, and entrusted Ningbo Xiaoshi Middle School to make overall management of the nine-year compulsory education schools of Xinzhi Road and Liyuan South Road, Xinzhi Campus and Liyuan Campus.
