Guided by Deng Xiaoping Theory and Theory of Three Represents, we should take the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people as the fundamental starting point and foothold of political and legal work, truly put people first, enforce the law for the people, and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
3. Fairness and justice.
This is the value pursuit of the socialist concept of rule of law. Fairness and justice are the lifeline of political and legal work, the primary task of a harmonious society and the primary goal of socialist rule of law. Police officers of politics and law are required to enforce the law impartially, safeguard public welfare, abandon evil, promote healthy trends, overcome selfish desires, exclude selfish interests, adhere to the principles of legality, reasonableness, equal treatment, timeliness, efficiency and procedural justice, and safeguard social fairness and justice.
4. Serve the overall situation.
This is an important mission of socialist rule of law. Political and legal organs and police officers at all levels are required to closely focus on the overall work of the party and the state, base themselves on their duties, fully and correctly perform their duties, devote themselves to promoting the process of building a well-off society in an all-round way, and strive to create a harmonious and stable social environment and a fair and efficient rule of law environment.
5. Party leadership.
This is the fundamental guarantee of socialist rule of law. We should consciously unite upholding the party's leadership, consolidating the party's ruling position and safeguarding the socialist rule of law, uniting the implementation of the party's line, principles and policies with strict law enforcement, uniting strengthening and improving the party's leadership over political and legal work with ensuring that the judicial organs independently exercise their functions and powers according to law, always adhering to the correct political stance and faithfully fulfilling the sacred mission entrusted by the party and the people.
