Teacher Luo is one of the few calligraphers who are good at both. Teacher Luo has been exploring on the road of traditional and modern painting, forming a unique painting style, and is the founder of contemporary smart painting. His Painting Eight Horses was performed in the Great Hall of the People. A Hundred Birds Toward the Phoenix, A Peacock Qi Fei, A Mermaid and other works are performed in one go, and the scenery is instantly interpreted. In one stroke, Mr. Luo performed a 38-meter long scroll in the form of a stroke, which reached the peak of contemporary stroke. His paintings are collected by collectors at home and abroad.

Through more than twenty years' teaching practice and thinking, Mr. Luo initiated the educational theory of "smart painting" in the field of children's art education in China. He has always been fascinated by the "decoding project" of children's calligraphy and painting, put forward six concepts of "wisdom painting enlightens wisdom" in painting education, practiced the concept of "wisdom painting enlightens wisdom", and bred truly attractive, inspirational, intelligent and virtuous paintings with wide connotations. His educational view of "painting with strokes" changed people's understanding of painting enlightenment. His "Children's Painting Symbol" has made a breakthrough in the extension of painting materials and expanded the space of artistic expression. In the practice of calligraphy education, the educational concept of "wonderful calligraphy skills, calligraphy theory's understanding of interest, practicing calligraphy and nourishing the heart, and combining calligraphy with wisdom" was put forward. In practice, he counseled and commented on as many as 200,000 children's paintings and calligraphy works, and served as a judge of domestic and international competitions for many times.

Mr. Luo has been exploring in the fields of psychology, chromatics, education, philology, thinking science, etc. He has successfully applied NLP neurolinguistics to painting and calligraphy education, devoted himself to researching and developing people's belief system, thinking system and emotional system, and advocated the concept that learning can be improved on the spot. He firmly believes that learning in situations is the most effective learning. In the study of chromatics, he established a "butterfly" system for children's paintings, which brought the color code of nature to the classroom and stimulated children's perception of color. He is also keen on studying the network structure of Chinese characters, and thinks that Chinese characters are a huge and meticulous network system. We should start with the source of words and try to convey the subtle relationship between words to students in an intuitive form.

The courses created by Mr. Luo are well-known in the education field for their wonderful, interesting, enlightening and unique features. In recent years, brand-new teaching methods such as printing, anatomical painting and decoding configuration in silent series have triggered a revolution in children's painting teaching methods. He integrated hundreds of "thinking models" into the course, so that every student could draw a picture full of wisdom. By 2009, more than 200 cities in China, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries had shared Mr. Luo's courses and teaching methods.
