Personal profile: 1997, graduated from Northwest Forestry College, and stayed as a teacher in the same year. 1998 graduated from Northwest A&F University with a master's degree, and obtained a doctorate in agriculture from Northwest A&F University in 2008. From June 2006 to June 2007, he was a visiting scholar at George Mei Sen University. 1998 was awarded as "advanced individual in social practice activities of college students going to the countryside in summer in Shaanxi province" and 1999 was awarded as "outstanding student in desert management" by the sand industry fund management committee of China Association for Science and Technology.

He is currently the deputy director of the Department of Geographic Information and Remote Sensing Science, College of Resources and Environment.

Research interests include land resources and spatial information technology, soil and water conservation and desertification control.

The course has been devoted to the teaching and scientific research of land resources and spatial information technology for a long time, and has successively undertaken the teaching of undergraduate courses such as geographic information system, digital map drawing principle, GIS design and implementation, WebGIS, physical geography, soil and water conservation planning, introduction to soil and water conservation, natural resources science, etc., and taught resource and environment investigation and drawing for doctoral and master students.

Academic performance: 1997. Up to now, he has been committed to the research work on the utilization and management of land resources, the application of remote sensing and geographic information system, the monitoring and evaluation of resources and environment in the Loess Plateau, and has presided over the completion of 1 our school's youth special fund project (04ZM 106) and 1 Chinese Academy of Sciences' major knowledge innovation project (KSCX-YW-09).
