Jiangsu Vocational and Technical College of Finance and Economics is a full-time college approved by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education from July 65438 to May 2004. It is formed by the merger of two national key middle schools, Huaiyin Finance and Economics School in Jiangsu Province and Huaihai Industry and Trade School in Jiangsu Province. The school belongs to the Provincial Department of Education. Jiangsu Huaiyin School of Finance and Economics and Jiangsu Huaihai School of Industry and Trade were established in 1964 and 1979, respectively, and are headed by the Provincial Department of Finance and the Provincial Grain Bureau. The former was originally named Huaiyin Accounting Vocational School, 1965, and the school was renamed Huaiyin Accounting Secondary Professional School.
