Jincheng County was established here in Han Dynasty and Wei and Jin Dynasties. When the Sixteen Kingdoms got cold, they moved to Jincheng County to rule here. In the third year of Emperor Yangdi's Huang Kai (AD 583), Emperor Wendi abandoned the county to establish the country and set up the Lanzhou General Government. The name "Lanzhou" first appeared in history books. Later, although the counties were renamed several times, the organizational evolution of Lanzhou was basically fixed and has been used to this day.
In the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), roads were set up in the waste state, and Lanshan and Changgong were Lanshan roads, which governed Gaolan, Hongshui, Yuzhong, Didao, Daohe, Ding Ning, Tao Sha, Jingyuan, Weiyuan, Dingxi, Lintan, Longxi, Minxian and Huining. Daoyin is stationed in Gaolan County, the provincial capital.
1August 949, Lanzhou was liberated. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the construction of Lanzhou has undergone several changes.

2. Wang Gengshan? ( 1877~ 1959)
Wang Gengshan, whose name is Xinrun, is from Gaolan County. 1877 was born in Ningwozhuang, Lanzhou. 190 1 year was admitted to Daqing as a juror. Graduated from Beijing Institute of Advanced Law. From 1909 to191year, he was a professor at Northwest University. 19 13 year, the first Congress of the Republic of China was established.
Elected as a member of the Senate and participated in the formulation of the constitution of the Temple of Heaven. 1923 refused to vote for Cao Kun as the president, unmoved by 5000 silver dollars.
3. Li Shijie? ( 1895~ 1979)
Li Shijie, the word North Screen. Born on May 5th, 1895, from Gaolan, Gansu. He graduated from the fifth cavalry division of Baoding Army College and was the third special student of Army University. 1September, 926, served as the staff officer of Lieutenant Colonel of the Fifth Brigade of the Jin Army.
1June, 927 15 Division Chief of Staff. In July, he served as the colonel director of the staff office of the Northern Army 15 Division of the National Revolutionary Army.
