In a short time, the bug became a god dog. This god dog is very brave, good at fighting, and only listens to Di Ku. Di Ku also casually named the dog "Tiger Pan". Later, Tiger Pan helped defeat his opponent Wu, which made him own the world.
In order to thank Pan Hu, Di Ku married his daughter to Pan Hu and gave birth to a descendant of Yao. Therefore, the totem of Yao God is Pan Hu the dog. Di Ku's daughter, Xin Nv, married Pan Hu and followed Pan Hu to farm, weave and have children by the Yuan River. The little girl likes to take a bath in the water after washing clothes. As a mother, she often plays naked in the river with her children, and when the children are hungry, they sit by the shallows and nurse. Every three to five days after beginning of autumn, she went skinny-dipping by the river every day. Later, this period was called "Cleanliness Day" by Yao people, which became the original origin of naked swimming in later generations.
Fei Xian Di Ku is also called Di Jun, perhaps because he has a bird's head. He likes to make friends with a colorful bird. There are three kinds of colorful birds: one is called imperial bird, the other is called phoenix bird, which is actually called phoenix in ancient times. Shaped like a chicken, it has colorful feathers. They don't eat human food and often sing and dance by themselves. As long as they appear on the earth, the world will be peaceful. Later Confucius said that "the phoenix bird can't come", which was his mood during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. According to some books, as Di Ku's grandfather, the Yellow Emperor has never seen the Phoenix. Because the Yellow Emperor had never seen the Phoenix, he asked Tian Lao, his most knowledgeable courtier. Tian Lao had never seen a phoenix, but his imagination was amazing, so he told the Yellow Emperor: The first half of the phoenix is like a swan, but the second half is like a unicorn; It has the neck of a snake and the tail of a fish; There are literary talents like dragons and tortoise shells like turtles; There is a swallow's chin and a chicken's mouth ... It depicts a great chase, focusing the characteristics of birds, beasts, reptiles, fish and other animals on the phoenix, making the phoenix very mysterious. As for Di Ku, he can make friends with these colorful birds, because Di Ku has a swallow's head, which was originally called Di Jun, the God of the East. A long time ago, he was of the same kind as these colorful birds in the East, so these birds became friends with Di Ku and danced around him.
In addition to the myth that Di Ku made friends with colorful birds, there is also a myth about bamboo forests in Di Ku. There is a hill in the remote wilderness of the north. To the south of this mountain is the bamboo forest in Di Ku. Within hundreds of miles of Fiona Fang, every bamboo grows very thick. Just choose a section and cut it, and it will be two boats. This kind of bamboo is several hundred feet long, more than three feet thick and more than one foot thick. It's called "crying bamboo"
Di Ku has three wives, two of whom are the wives of Sun God and Chang 'e.
The sun gods Xi and Di Ku gave birth to ten sons. They are ten suns in the sky. Every day, He takes her ten children to the East China Sea for a bath. The place where they bathe is called Tanggu. The water in this place is very hot, which was heated by her ten sons. Not far from this soup valley, there is a hibiscus tree towering into the sky. Every time a child climbs to the tree to play after taking a shower, but only one child can play at the top of the tree, and the rest can only play on the branches of the tree. This is why there are ten stories about the sun in the sky. But later, because he didn't obey the Heaven, he was shot down by the archer Hou Yi.
Chang 'e has twelve beautiful daughters. Their temperament is very gentle and they love cleanliness. Their mother often takes them swimming in the rippling lake in the west. They are obedient, have fun, never give their mother any trouble, and their parents will not add any trouble because of them.
Di Ku also has a concubine, the daughter of Zou Tushi. When the Yellow Emperor defeated Chiyou, he exiled all the bad guys in the world to the cold and desolate north. Move the good people to Zoutu and let them live together. Zou Tu's daughter is the best of these good people. She is as holy as snow, never touching the ground when she walks, and she will not be contaminated with dust. She is always like a cloud floating in the air, drifting back and forth quietly, often roaming over Yishui and Luoshui, often falling down, playing by the water, carefree. Di Ku met such an extraordinary and beautiful woman. Of course he wouldn't miss it, so he married her. Soon, Zou Tu's daughter and Di Ku had a strange dream. Every dream is the same, and every time I finish it, I have a son. After eight dreams in a row, Miss Zou Tu gave birth to eight magical sons. These eight sons have been proficient in melody since they were born, and they are good at playing music, each with his own expertise. When I grow up, I will become the eight music gods in the sky.
Di Ku also has two sons, Kui Bo and Shi Shen. The two brothers are very discordant. As soon as we met, we fought for no reason. Every time, I was broken, and I kept picking fights. Di Ku persuaded his two sons to educate them anyway, but they still went their own way and ignored their father's words. As long as Di Ku goes away, the two of them will be at odds and fight to the death. Di Ku's brain was broken for this, and there was nothing he could do. Finally, he had to separate them. Therefore, Di Ku sent Kui Bo to Shangqiu to take charge of the stars in the east, and in summer, he sent a stone god to the west to take charge of the stars in the western sky. Participants are just so far apart in the sky that they can never be together at the same time. One goes up and the other goes down. One by one, they will never see each other again, and they will never quarrel again.
Legend has it that Di Ku can manipulate the stars to master the changes of time and seasons and guide people's production and life. Di Ku likes music very much. He asked the musician Yin Hei to compose songs such as "Nine strokes, Six lines and Six English" and ordered Yue to play drums, bells, discs and other musical instruments. When the ladies-in-waiting danced, they wore colorful clothes and played various musical instruments with such beautiful tunes, which attracted many precious birds such as Phoenix and Dazhai in the sky to dance with them.
Di Ku is virtuous and knows how to cultivate one's morality. He lived to 105. He likes to cruise, climb the majestic Mount Tai, swim in the majestic East China Sea and travel all over the famous mountains and rivers.
