Unite the positive aspects of the national bourgeoisie, criticize its negative aspects and adopt the policy of unity, criticism and education. Unite the national bourgeoisie to participate in the construction of new China, and gradually implement peaceful redemption through state capitalism and United front work. Gradually transform capitalist ownership into socialist public ownership and give compensation. At the same time, through persuasion and education, the vast majority of this class will be transformed into self-reliant workers, and appropriate political arrangements will be given to their representatives.

(5) Implement the basic strategic policy of unity and struggle. There are alliances in the United front, and there are also criticisms about alliances; There are different criticisms about different alliances of different natures among different allies. To deal with contradictions among the people, we must adhere to the formula of "unity-criticism-unity", that is, from the desire of unity, through criticism or struggle, contradictions can be resolved, so as to achieve new unity on a new basis.

(6) Adhere to the combination of principle and flexibility. In the United front, the proletariat must adhere to its own program, line and strategic objectives and lead its allies to advance and win; At the same time, we should take care of the interests and demands of our allies and make necessary compromises and concessions in some cases. This kind of compromise and concession is to achieve their strategic goals.
