Xiongxian Special Education School is public. Baoding Xiongxian Special Education Center is a comprehensive special education school integrating infant rehabilitation training, language training for deaf children, development of mentally retarded children and vocational training for disabled children. It recruits blind and deaf students from preschool to high school in urban areas, as well as mentally retarded children in preschool and compulsory education.

Recruit county (city) deaf students from junior high school and senior high school and blind students from preschool to senior high school. It belongs to Baoding Education Bureau and is included in the basic guarantee fund unit of financial funds. The school is the first school in Hebei Province to plan and design according to the Code for Architectural Design of Special Education Schools (JGJ76-2003) promulgated by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Education in 2004.
