2. Shanghai Institute of Physical Education

From 65438 to 0952, East China Institute of Physical Education, the first higher physical education institution in New China, was established in Shanghai. 1Feb. 956, it was renamed as Shanghai Institute of Physical Education with the approval of the State Council.

3. Wuhan Institute of Physical Education

1953, Zhongnan Institute of Physical Education, the predecessor of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education, was established in Nanchang, Jiangxi. 1956 was renamed Wuhan Institute of Physical Education.

4. Chengdu Institute of Physical Education

Chengdu Institute of Physical Education was founded in 1942, formerly known as Sichuan Institute of Physical Education. In 1950, the people's government took over and renamed it Chengdu Institute of Physical Education. 1953 was transformed into Southwest Institute of Physical Education, and 1956 was renamed.

5. Tianjin Institute of Physical Education

Tianjin Institute of Physical Education was established in August 1958. 1959 was formed by the merger of the former Tianjin Physical Education School and the Physical Education Department of Shijiazhuang Normal University.

6. Capital Institute of Physical Education

Capital Institute of Physical Education was founded in 1956, formerly known as "Beijing Physical Education School", and was transformed into "Beijing Physical Education Teachers College" in 1960, and renamed as "Capital Institute of Physical Education" in 2000.

7. Shenyang Institute of Physical Education

1956 Northeast Institute of Physical Education was renamed Shenyang Institute of Physical Education, and it was also called the six major physical education institutes in China together with Northern Institute of Physical Education, Upper Institute of Physical Education, Wushu Institute, Adult Institute of Physical Education and Western Institute of Physical Education.

Xi Institute of Physical Education, founded in 1954, is the only physical education institution in northwest China.

9. Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education

Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education, founded in 1956, is the only independent physical education institution with undergraduate and postgraduate education in South China.

10, Harbin Institute of Physical Education

Founded in 1956, it is an excellent institution evaluated by the Ministry of Education in 2006.
