Xinjiang Vocational and Technical College
Xinjiang University of Technology started in 1958, and was once a preparatory school of the General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army, and was later upgraded to Xinjiang Coal Mine College. This school is the only higher education engineering college in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and it is also an important base for training engineering talents in Xinjiang.
urumqi vocational university
Urumqi vocational university, founded in 1985, is one of the earlier higher vocational colleges in China. In 2007, it merged with Urumqi Adult Education College to form a new urumqi vocational university, and implemented the management system of co-construction of districts and cities and taking the city as the main part.

Xinjiang Vocational College, formerly known as Xinjiang Staff University, was founded by the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, 1962. After more than forty years of development, it has become a comprehensive institution of higher learning under the people's government of the autonomous region and in charge of the education department of the autonomous region. It is the only independent adult college in the autonomous region registered by the Ministry of Education and has made important contributions to the education in Xinjiang.
Xinjiang Communications Vocational and Technical College
Xinjiang Communications Vocational and Technical College is located in Midong New District, the northern suburb of Urumqi, and was established in September 2004 1. This public higher vocational and technical college at the junior college level is designated by the Ministry of Communications, the Ministry of Education and other six ministries to train skilled talents in automobile operation and maintenance. It is also a training base for teachers in secondary vocational education and a training base for transportation in the autonomous region.
