Iran launches new air defense missile
Iran announced the launch of a new "Said -3" air defense missile production line to counter the new economic sanctions imposed by the United States on Tehran. Iranian Defense Minister Dahgan pointed out at a weapons delivery ceremony that the new air defense missile "Sayad -3" has a flying height of 27 kilometers and a range of 120 kilometers, which can deal with fighter planes, drones, cruise missiles and helicopters.

Sayad means "hunter" in Persian. "Sayad -3" completely adopts Iranian native technology. The arms deal of hundreds of billions of dollars signed by the President of the United States during his visit to Saudi Arabia stated that "they are trying to import more weapons into the region, and the purpose of this deal is to threaten Iran". The United States imposed a new round of economic sanctions on Iran's ballistic missile program and accused Tehran of "bad behavior" in the Middle East, which weakened the positive contribution of Iran's nuclear agreement and made the relationship between the United States and Iran more tense.
