Beijing is the Education Bureau, and the Beijing Municipal Education Commission is an integral part of the municipal government. It is a bureau-level bureau, which hangs the brand of Beijing Language and Literature Working Committee and Education Supervision Office of Beijing Municipal People's Government, and is led by the Education Working Committee of the Municipal Party Committee.

The Municipal Education Commission implements the principles, policies, decision-making arrangements and related work requirements of the CPC Central Committee on education, and adheres to and strengthens the centralized and unified leadership of the Party on education in the process of performing its duties.
