The School of Education Science of Guizhou Normal University was formerly the Education Department of Guiyang Normal University when 194 1 was founded. It has a history of 70 years. The "Guizhou Mental Health Education Key Teacher Training Center" and "Guizhou Normal University Primary and Secondary School Teacher Training Base" designated by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education are affiliated to the college. Over the years, it has undertaken the training of national primary and secondary school backbone teachers, provincial primary and secondary school backbone teachers, psychological health training of college counselors, professional qualification training of psychological counselors, and teacher qualification examinations. It has formed a multi-level, multi-type, multi-functional and open school-running pattern integrating teacher education, pre-service education and post-service education.
