John Meda, former dean of Rhode Island School of Design in New York, was the first to shout loudly that the new education from "STEM" to "STEAM" should increase the importance of art (visual expression, language art and design) and integrate art into science and technology education, so as to show more unique emotions and creativity of human beings in scientific and technological innovation.

Tang, the founder of Taichung Four Seasons Art, who took the lead in promoting the course of "Art Maker" in pre-school education in Taiwan Province Province, also said that if the elements of "art" can be skillfully used in the course of "STEAM", the results created can not only solve people's problems, but also touch people by giving the works attractive visual expression, and even create better value.

Most subjects are very logical. The maker course we are talking about now will have an interdisciplinary combination, such as the combination of science and technology and the combination of engineering and mathematics. In this process, children must create various achievements that can solve the life problems of "human beings" through many practical experiments.

We can see that we didn't talk about "art" when we first talked about "stalk", but now why do we think "art" must come in? Because art can move people. Art pays attention to many details. If I want to make a finished product now, I will bring in the beauty of proportion, shape, color, structure, material and so on from the beginning of this experiment, and the results I create can not only solve people's problems, but also touch people, because it will be exquisite, beautiful and attractive, because it is more beautiful and even more creative.
