1. Chizhou College was founded in 1977. Originally a professional class in Chizhou area of Anhui University of Labor, it was located in Chizhou City, Anhui Province. 1980 was officially named Chizhou Teachers College, 1999 merged with the former Chizhou Technical School, merged with the former Anhui Economic and Trade School in 2002, and was upgraded to a provincial full-time undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2007.
