The characteristics of children's age and cognitive development determine the important position and role of English infiltration in children's English teaching. Infiltration activities can provide a more authentic English environment, provide more opportunities for children to practice English, help children develop their bilingual ability, consolidate their knowledge of English, expand their experience in activities, and provide children with a vivid and interesting language and cultural environment in various forms, so that children can enjoy learning English and cultivate their bilingual ability.
Second, the goal of English infiltration in children's language education
The goal of children's English education should follow the characteristics of children's language development and scientific educational ideas, and should embody the following goals.
1, to stimulate children's interest in learning English-emotional goals. This is the primary and basic goal of English education for young children. 2. Train children's imitation ability and lay a good foundation for pronunciation-cognitive goals. English and Chinese belong to different language families. Some English sounds do not exist in Chinese phonetic system, and English pronunciation habits are also very different from Chinese. Therefore, teachers should let children learn correct English pronunciation through listening and speaking activities, and let children master correct English pronunciation through imitation, so as to lay a solid phonetic foundation for future study and make children's English education truly become the preparatory stage for future language learning. Listening and speaking leaders attach importance to the communicative function of language, which conforms to the law of children's language development. The ultimate goal of children's English education is to initially cultivate children's ability to communicate in English, that is, to cultivate children's ability to learn to speak and use English in daily English environment and English activities. Third, the implementation of children's English infiltration education goals for attention
The goal of children's English infiltration should follow children's cognitive law and development characteristics, and reflect the characteristics of all-round education from children's language learning characteristics and English learning situation, and from children's actual learning ability and current situation.
1. Infiltrate English naturally into children's daily life education goals. The younger a child is, the closer the relationship between education and life is. Life is rich and natural, which contains all kinds of development opportunities and possibilities, hides rich and varied English education resources and contents, and has the value of promoting children's development in many aspects. In the one-day activities in kindergarten, teachers can use English appropriately in a good English environment to carry out activities, provide opportunities for children to learn and practice English, let children unconsciously imitate and practice in activities, cultivate children's interest in daily life activities organized in English, and understand and consolidate daily life English.
2. Take English learning as a language learning process. The main way for children to learn is spoken English. So children learn English mainly by practicing English listening and speaking. Children's sensitivity to sounds makes children's language learning have a process of "listening" (listening to pronunciation and intonation), then "understanding", then "speaking" (imitating pronunciation, practicing pronunciation and correcting pronunciation) and finally "expressing" (communicating and using). Therefore, teachers should design English education activities according to children's cognitive development level when implementing English education activities for children. Let them know these English words first; Secondly, according to the development order of the story, show the children the content pictures of the story, tell the story with body language and pictures, and let the children understand: digahole, plantsomeseeds, watertheseeds, theturnipisbig, pullitout, pleasehelpme, etc. Because there are many verb phrases in this story, the teacher can write English verb phrases on the card and associate them with related pictures. After telling the story to the child, the teacher leads the child to retell the story in English with pictures and character cards, and guides the child to play games according to the story. Finally, children can further master and use the English vocabulary they have learned in the activity situation of "pulling radish".
After the story performance, the teacher put the pictures of the characters in the story and props such as carrots in the activity area of the classroom, and arranged the story situation to remind the children that they can constantly recall and reproduce the story in English in the future and repeat the emotional experience of pulling carrots happily in the story. In this activity, the teacher showed the children vivid story pictures in English, including the pictures of characters, the growth of radishes and the happy process of harvesting big radishes. It not only integrates English learning into all aspects of story activities, but also realizes children's English learning goals of listening to stories, learning to tell stories and acting stories. At the same time, children can understand and experience the relevant life and labor scenes, cultivate their sense of teamwork, and truly achieve the all-round penetration of English activities in early childhood education. Montessori believes that language is not a gift from heaven, but a product of human thinking and wisdom. Children learn language unconsciously first, and then develop into a part of the brain. When children learn a language anytime and anywhere, they will unconsciously gain a lot of vocabulary and experience in understanding and expressing, so English language learning permeates their daily life and all kinds of knowledge acquired by children. Therefore, the important way to develop children's English is to expand children's experience in colorful activities and provide conditions for promoting their English language development through mutual education in various fields.
