? Looking beyond education, new horizons bring new directions? -Introduction to online teaching and research activities

Li Ruijin Research Group of Xiangcheng Officials Association

On June 65438+1October 65438+June 7, 2020, members of our research group participated in online teaching and research activities organized by a research group in a city on time. The expert who met us in the cloud this time is Director Yuan Yue from Rugao City, Jiangsu Province. The theme of Director Yuan's lecture is "Look at the problem from another angle and do different research". Director Yuan has a good eloquence. The one-and-a-half-hour lecture inspired us deeply and gained a lot.

Where there are contradictions, there are problems. The problem is the bridge and link between the known and the unknown, and the problem is the cornerstone of research. Director Yuan's lecture started from three aspects: finding problems, putting forward problems and expressing problems.

First of all, in finding problems, Director Yuan mentioned three consciousnesses, namely, learning consciousness, problem consciousness and reflection consciousness.

Learning can look at the essence through phenomena and the essence from superficial problems. Only by reading more books and studying more can we have problems and go deep into the essential level. As far as learning is concerned, Director Yuan said that "only busy people have time to study" and used fragmented time to squeeze out time to study. The more you read, the narrower your knowledge, and the more you study, the more you can find problems. Then think about the significance of this problem and whether it can be solved. How to solve it? Only when there are problems as the cornerstone can research have ideas and directions. Director Yuan also said that "reflection and problems exist together". Only by constantly reflecting in the study can we find a solution to the problem.

Then Director Yuan mentioned the issues of suddenness, inevitability, divergence and doubt in his questions. Director Yuan used two cases to illustrate the problem of suddenness and necessity. On the issue of divergence, Director Yuan explained the law of diminishing marginal utility from the perspective of economics, path dependence from the perspective of psychology, a case study of the influence of students' class status on learning from the perspective of sociology, and the law of growth and development from the perspective of medicine, so as to look at the problem from another perspective and do different research. It is really refreshing and different to look at education and study education problems from such a perspective and angle. Looking at education outside of education may raise more, more comprehensive and deeper questions, which will bring new directions to our research. Of course, the theoretical basis of science comes from reading and learning. Without extensive reading and this multi-angle and multi-disciplinary theory as the basis, it is impossible to look at education from these angles. This echoes what Director Yuan said about learning consciousness.

On the question of doubt, Director Yuan said, "The contradiction of common sense lies in that it can not only help us understand the world, but also weaken our cognitive ability. Our understanding of education is hindering our further understanding of education. " Good medicine is not necessarily bitter, learning from the sea is endless, and suffering comes to the boat. You can also learn from the sea skillfully. We should dare to break the mindset and question. Of course, the premise of questioning is that there is sufficient theoretical basis to do the foundation, not blindly questioning, but questioning for the sake of questioning.

Finally, in the aspect of expressing problems, Director Yuan illustrated what are descriptive problems, relevance problems and causality problems. Director Hu also asked everyone to read their own research topics in the interactive area and reflect on what kind of topics they belong to.

The different perspectives and horizons brought by Director Yuan have really broadened our thinking of doing research. Looking beyond education, new horizons bring new directions. On the way of doing research, we learn and grow! I hope that through our efforts, we can make different real research!
