History of Jiashan No.4 Middle School
Jiashan No.4 Middle School, the school extension can be traced back to September 1953. At present, it is the first batch of demonstration junior middle schools in Zhejiang Province (2002), civilized units in Jiaxing City (200 1), educational and scientific research base in Jiaxing City (200 1) and county Hongqi Party branch (2002). It is an influential junior middle school in cities and counties. The 56-year development process can be divided into three stages: from 65438 to September 0953, in order to satisfy the young generation's thirst for cultural learning after the founding of the People's Republic of China, Yang Yutang, director of the neighborhood committee of Cang Qiao Town, and Wu, who returned from the Korean battlefield, founded Jiashan Town cram school, which was approved, put on record and managed by the county education bureau. Yang Yutang is the principal, Wu is the teaching director, and the teacher is a high school graduate and Sheng Yunhua.

The school is located in the north of Taiping Bridge, Ximen, Tang Wei Town. It's the landlord's house confiscated by the land reform. It covers an area of about half an acre and has two classrooms, an auditorium (40 square meters) and a playground the size of a basketball court. The school facilities are simple, there is no blackboard, and it is replaced by the black screen style of the landlord's family; No desk, built with door panels; No chairs, students bring their own.

The students are mainly high school graduates. The first phase enrolled two classes with more than 100 students.

1957, "Jiashan Tang Wei town cram school" was upgraded to "Jiashan Tang Wei town culture cram school", with 1 class in senior high school and 2 classes in junior high school. The school expanded to the east of Taiping Bridge, and the landlord confiscated a Shikumen house with a total area of more than 450 square meters. In addition to our teachers' teaching, we also use radio to listen to the teaching of radio schools as a teaching method. There is no organ in music class, and singing is taught orally. 1958, Wang Yunzhong, a Jiaxing native who was then the director of Jiashan No.2 Middle School, was transferred to the principal. In order to meet the Great Leap Forward and train agricultural machinery and chemical technicians, the tutorial school was changed to "Jiashan Tang Wei Industrial School" to recruit students from junior high school students in the county. The school site moved to Ximen Xuedong Street. 1959 In the first half of the year, the school moved to Xiatang, Henan Auditorium (later the location of Jiashan Guangming Yue Opera Troupe). 1August, 959, the school moved to its present address: No.527 Dongmen Street (formerly Tang Wei Cotton Mill), renamed as "Tang Wei Private Middle School in Jiaxing County", and the private middle school of Ganyao merged, and the major of agricultural machinery was merged into Jiaxing Vocational and Technical College. There are 9 classes with more than 220 students. It belongs to Tang Wei Town.

1February, 960, Wang Yunzhong was "flagged" in the anti-rightist movement and transferred to Jiaxing Nanhui Middle School to teach. Feng Zhiren succeeded him as the principal. In July, the first junior high school graduates left school.

In order to enrich the teaching staff, Jiaxing Education Bureau transferred nine public teachers, including Pan, Shen Fuchun, Wu Mingxi, from various schools to teach, which formed a certain degree of private assistance pattern economically. In August, Han Ye, director of Jiaxing Education Bureau, was transferred to Zhong Wei United No.1 Middle School (there was no independent party branch in Tang Wei private middle school at that time), Liu Jiaqi was appointed as teaching director, and Yuan Ming was appointed as general affairs director.

At that time, the school had 7 classes, covering an area of more than 3 mu, an irregular basketball court, a big office, 23 classrooms upstairs and downstairs, and 10 students. The teaching facilities are simple, with three basketball and volleyball.

President Daming He left the school because of the "socialist education movement" working group, and Shen Fuchun, a league cadre, temporarily presided over the school affairs.

From 65438 to 0966, the Cultural Revolution broke out and schools were paralyzed. In order to keep up with the trend, the school was renamed "Red Heart Middle School", which belongs to Luoxing Commune.

1967 to 1968 expanded the school area, including 3 mu of wasteland outside the original Party School of the county party committee, with a total area of about 9 mu.

The Revolutionary Committee of Luoxing Commune was established in 1970. Under the slogan of "the working class leads everything", Mao Zedong Thought, a worker jointly organized by Jiashan Rice Factory, Jiashan Oil Factory, Jiashan Brewery and Jiashan Food Factory, was sent to school. Later, under the slogan of "running schools for poor middle peasants", the propaganda team of poor middle peasants in Mao Zedong Thought, headed by Xue Yusheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Commune Revolutionary Committee, led the school to "correct" and set up the school revolutionary committee. Xue Yusheng is the director, student leader Fang Yun and leading cadre representative Shen Fuchun are the deputy directors. The Party Committee of Luoxing Commune approved the school to set up a separate party branch, and the secretary was Yao Fugen of the poor propaganda team tanker brigade. From 1974 to 1992, 2,869 full-time high school students were enrolled. School moral education takes the construction of teachers' morality as the core, the construction of class teachers as the breakthrough, and grade management as the starting point, and pays close attention to the "overpass project jointly built by the police and the people" (building civilization with the civilized units of the county patrol special police brigade, the bureau of retired veteran cadres, the county museum, three neighborhood committees, the Agricultural Bank, two kindergartens, the social state village and other provinces and cities) and the campus cultural project, and pays close attention to behavior development education, legal education and mental health education. School intellectual education is based on the construction of teaching and research group, and implements measures such as team leader's squatting system, teaching variable assessment system, performance binding system within the group, and scientific research of teaching problems. The quality of teaching (entrance examination and subject competition) has risen to an equal position with Jiashan No.1 Middle School. With the advancement of urbanization, the population of Tang Wei Town has increased dramatically, and the modernization of junior high school education has contributed to the relocation of Jiashan No.4 Middle School. The project was officially implemented on April 25th, 2008 with the approval of the County Development and Reform Bureau, and was established as a provincial key project in 2008. The new campus is located in the south of Huancheng North Road and west of Huancheng East Road in Tang Wei Town. The newly-built Jiashan No.4 Middle School has the characteristics of "new design concept, large capital investment, large school scale and complete educational facilities". The project is designed and constructed according to the first-class standard of Zhejiang Nine-year Compulsory Education Standardization School. The school has 48 classes and 2400 students. The total investment is 83.55 million yuan. The land area is 85,466 square meters (128.32 mu), with a total construction area of 27,000 square meters. There are teaching building, administrative building, experimental building, comprehensive building and canteen, with novel design, reasonable structure and complete functions. There is also a multi-functional lecture hall with advanced equipment, which can accommodate more than 600 people, a gymnasium with an area of 1925 square meters and a 400-meter plastic track and field. When completed, it will be the largest modern junior middle school in Jiaxing so far.

For the development of a school, 56 years is just a flick of a finger, especially in the 30 years after the turbulent reform and opening up, which is changing with each passing day. Jiashan No.4 Middle School has developed from a cram school in the past into a modern school with certain influence inside and outside the county, which is amazing and gratifying.

(Before and after writing this article, I interviewed Wu, Shen Lixin, Daming He, Shen Fuchun, Xu Wenyu, and other leaders and predecessors. After writing, I sought the opinions of Huang Jinghao, the current leader of Jiashan No.4 Middle School (who edited the school history of 89-08 because of his long working hours at school) and other previous leaders, and decided after revision. )
