Fujian Normal University (Fujian Normal University for short) is a provincial-level key university jointly established by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education, and a national first-class university construction university. The school is located in Fuzhou, with Party Secretary Pan Yuteng and President Wang Changping. The motto of the school is "Unity of knowledge and action, sincerity and broadness".

As of June 2022, the school headquarters has two campuses, Qishan and Cangshan, covering an area of about 4,000 mu, with 84 undergraduate majors, 1 national key disciplines, 9 provincial peak disciplines, 2 1 first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees, 34 first-class disciplines authorized by master's degrees, 22 master's degree categories, and 2 national comprehensive professional reform pilots and characteristic majors.

Fujian Normal University was founded on 1907 by Emperor Chen of Qing Dynasty as "Excellent Normal School in Fujian Province". South China Women's College of Arts and Sciences, Fujian Christian University and Fujian Provincial Teachers College were adjusted and merged several times, and Fujian Normal University was established on 1953, and 1972 was renamed Fujian Normal University, which is still in use today. 20 12 Fujian Normal University was jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Fujian Provincial People's Government.

As of June, 20021,it has established friendly cooperative relations with more than 30 universities, scientific research institutions and UNESCO in the United States, Britain, Australia and other countries and regions, and established substantive cooperative relations with more than 50 universities in Taiwan Province Province, China. At present, Huddersfield College of Fujian Normal University, a non-independent Chinese-foreign cooperative school, has 6 undergraduates and 6 postgraduates.

The Indonesian Research Center was selected as the National and Regional Research Record Center of the Ministry of Education, and the Philippine Research Center was selected as the "Belt and Road" National and Regional Research Center of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission.

Overseas Chinese education has begun to take shape with obvious characteristics. Up to now, 98/kloc-0 volunteers have been sent to 26 countries including the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and the United States. Two Confucius Institutes have been established in cooperation with Hongxi Lishi University and Indonesian Arazza University, and Confucius Classrooms have been established in cooperation with Boston Fuxing Charter Public School, which has had a good influence at home and abroad.
