Anhui Normal University has majors in Chinese international education, drama, film and television literature, human resource management, secretarial science, public utilities management, chemical engineering and technology, film and television photography and production, broadcasting and hosting.

School history

The school is in the same strain as the National Anhui University in the Republic of China, and it is the first comprehensive university in the history of higher education in Anhui Province. Its predecessor was the provincial Anhui University, which was founded in Anqing, 1928. 1946 was renamed as National Anhui University, and 1949 moved to Wuhu. After that, it went through several stages of running schools, such as Anhui Normal University, Hefei Normal University, Southern Anhui University and Anhui University of Workers and Peasants. 1972, approved by the State Council, was officially named Anhui Normal University. In February 2022, Anhui Normal University officially launched the preparatory work for Hefei Campus.
