In order to guide local organizations to implement the national project to improve the information technology application ability of primary and secondary school teachers and standardize the construction and implementation of the training courses for teachers' information technology application ability, the Ministry of Education has studied and formulated the "Training Curriculum Standards for Primary and Secondary School Teachers' Information Technology Application Ability (Trial)", which was officially released on May 30th, 20 14.

General rules:

(1) In order to guide local organizations to implement the national IT application ability improvement project for primary and secondary school teachers (hereinafter referred to as the ability improvement project) and standardize the construction and implementation of IT application ability training courses for primary and secondary school teachers, the IT application ability training course standard for primary and secondary school teachers (for Trial Implementation) is formulated according to the IT application ability standard for primary and secondary school teachers.

Kindergarten and secondary vocational school teachers can refer to this standard when carrying out similar training.

(2) The curriculum standards comprehensively consider the differences between the information environment of primary and secondary schools in China and the application level of teachers' information technology, aiming at meeting the needs of teachers in different disciplines (fields) and different starting points, and implementing a "menu-based, autonomous and open" teacher selection and training mechanism to ensure on-demand training.

(3) Curriculum standards require the implementation of special training, strengthening task-driven, highlighting practice orientation, combining problem solving with case analysis, combining online learning with offline practice, promoting the adoption of new training modes that meet the characteristics of information technology, promoting the combination of online training and teaching practice, and promoting the combination of learning and application of teachers.

(4) According to the basic requirements and development requirements of Competency Standards for Primary and Secondary School Teachers' Information Technology Application Ability, the curriculum standards set up three series of courses, including optimizing classroom teaching, changing learning methods and supporting teachers' professional development with information technology, with a total of 27 themes, to help teachers improve their information technology literacy, improve their subject teaching ability and promote professional development with information technology.

(V) The curriculum standards put forward clear requirements for teachers' practical tasks and learning achievements in training, aiming at promoting the education administrative departments, teacher training institutions and primary and secondary schools to jointly evaluate the effectiveness of teachers' application, doing a good job in evaluating the information technology application ability of primary and secondary school teachers, and ensuring that teachers' information technology application ability is effectively improved.
