Weng Tiehui introduced that the Ministry of Education will scientifically determine the enrollment plan of the branch school. Considering the needs of economic and social development, financial support, conditions for running colleges and universities and other factors, it is estimated that there are about 440,000 graduate tutors and 65,438+2000 graduate degree awarding points in China, and more than 2,000 graduate programs have been added in recent years. On this basis, the enrollment scale of branch schools is determined, with emphasis on the central and western regions and the northeast region. It is estimated that the expansion will increase by1890,000 people. At the same time, expand the scale of colleges and universities and strive to add 322,000 students.
Weng Tiehui said that the expansion of enrollment will be tilted to the field of serving the national strategy and people's livelihood. Among them, the enrollment expansion of graduate students is inclined to clinical medicine, public health, artificial intelligence and other majors, with the focus on professional degree training. The undergraduate program is inclined to vocational education undergraduate and applied undergraduate, including preventive medicine, emergency management, aged care service management, e-commerce and other fields.
