The Naval Battle Museum is located near the former site of Weiyuanbao on the east bank of Haikou, Humen Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. This is a museum that combines themes and relics. Relying on Humen Fort, a national key cultural relic protection unit in the ancient battlefield of the Opium War, the museum shows you the tragic scene of China people's resistance to British aggression by using historical materials of cultural relics.
The exhibition of the Opium War naval battle and the semi-landscape painting of the Humen naval battle are the basic exhibitions of the museum. The former vividly shows the contrast between Chinese and British military forces during the Opium War and the story of China's heroic fight against the British invaders. The latter vividly reproduces the tragic scene of the Humen naval battle on February 26, 184 1 by combining realistic painting and realistic ground shaping with modern sound and light. The Memorial Educational Naval Battle Museum is an important part of the patriotic education base of Humen Fort and one of the three major anti-drug education places in China.
Covering an area of more than 240,000 square meters, Humen Naval Battle Museum is a combination of theme and heritage.
