Taha husayn, 1889, was born in the rural area of Mignat province in Upper Egypt. His family was poor, and when he was 3 years old, he was blind because his eye diseases were not well treated. /Kloc-When he was 0/3 years old, he went to Cairo with his brother and studied Confucian classics and teachings at Azhar University, the highest institution of Islam. From 65438 to 0908, he entered the Egyptian University and studied history, literature and foreign languages. 19 14 graduated and obtained the first doctorate in Egypt. Soon, he was sent by the Egyptian University to study in France at public expense. He studied Greek and Roman history, philosophy, language and literature at Montpellier University and Sorbonne College in Paris, and also criticized modern literature in Europe, especially in France. 19 18 received a doctorate from the University of Paris. 19 19 returned to China and became a professor at Egyptian University. From the 1940s to the early 1950s, he served as art consultant of the Ministry of Education, president of Alexandria University and minister of education. 1956 was elected as the first chairman of the Egyptian Writers' Association, and served as the chairman of the Egyptian government's Supreme Committee for Paying Attention to Literature, Art and Social Sciences. 1959 won the national literature prize. 1964 President of Arabic Society.
