Studying in Stuttgart, Germany
In recent years, more and more international students have gone abroad. After their studies, some of them work abroad, and some return to China to seek development opportunities. Qian Zhenyu, who has studied in Germany for 8 years, belongs to the latter. On the morning of February 8, Jinhua Daily reporter interviewed Qian Zhenyu, who works in Zhejiang Jiahuan Electronics Co., Ltd.

Studying in Germany is accidental.

Qian Zhenyu, a native of Jinhua, was born in 1976 and graduated from Jinhua No.2 Middle School in 1994. He was admitted to the mechanical major of Hangzhou Institute of Electronic Technology. He said: "It is accidental to study in Germany."

After studying in Hangzhou Institute of Electronic Technology, Qian Zhenyu learned that our school has a cooperative relationship with Enghardt College in Keten, Germany, and sends international students to each other every year. He thinks that Germany is a developed country in the world with a relatively high level of university education. Moreover, some students want to study in Germany in this way. So, after only studying the first semester of college, he decided to transfer to gerhardt Vocational College. Due to the differences in education systems between China and Germany, the German education department stipulates that only sophomores from China can apply to study in Germany. Qian Zhenyu submitted an application for studying abroad to the university, and according to the requirements of studying in Germany, she completed 600 hours of German study during her freshman and sophomore years, and obtained relevant certificates, which initially eliminated the language barrier of studying in Germany.

1996165438+10. In October, Qian Zhenyu finally flew to Coten, Germany to study in Enghardt Vocational College. There were five students who went to study with him at that time.

Qian Zhenyu studied languages in Enghardt Higher Vocational College for half a year, and then transferred to electronics major. Later, he learned that Enghardt Vocational College has a four-year academic system, and it takes a long time to get a bachelor's degree after graduation. So he decided to transfer and applied for admission to the University of Stuttgart in Germany. 1998 10 in June, he got his wish and was admitted to the semiconductor major of Stuttgart University.

Dedicated teachers and Professor kasper.

The University of Stuttgart was founded in 1829, and science and engineering are its strengths. At present, there are 14 departments and 140 research institutes with about 26,000 students. While studying in Enghardt Higher Vocational College, especially Stuttgart University, Qian Zhenyu fully felt the professionalism of German university teachers.

Qian Zhenyu said that teachers have rich experience, and most of them have visited scholars or exchanged ideas in the United States and other countries. Usually the teacher arrives at school at seven or eight in the morning and is busy until seven or eight in the evening. Sometimes they have to work overtime on weekends. Teachers treat students equally, whether they are locals or foreigners. Xiao Qian has a classmate from China, who has poor computing ability and failed an exam. The teacher not only didn't look down on him, but fully affirmed his comprehensive quality, and enthusiastically helped and guided him, so that he passed with high marks in the subsequent interview.

Professor kasper is the head of the department in Qian Zhenyu. Qian Jin Wu's enthusiasm for work and his responsible attitude towards students left a deep impression on him.

Bosch Group (headquartered in Stuttgart) is a global supplier of auto parts, and its research institute specializes in developing key sensing components in the control system of automotive EFI engines. During his study in Stuttgart University, Qian Zhenyu worked as an intern and part-time in the institute for a long time, and was very interested in the research of sensor components of automobile EFI engine, so this content was taken as the thesis topic of master's degree. Professor kasper is his tutor, but this content is not Professor kasper's specialty. Therefore, Professor kasper, who is busy with his work, has to squeeze time to find relevant information in order to guide him to finish his thesis smoothly. It took him nearly a year to finish this topic and made a reply to the paper. In September 2004, he obtained a master's degree certificate and successfully returned to China after studying abroad.

Internship and part-time job in Bosch.

Germany attaches great importance to cultivating college students' practical ability. According to the regulations of German education department, students should have at least 13 weeks of internship in enterprises in the first two years, and at least 13 weeks in the last four years. At the same time, the summer vacation of German universities lasted for two and a half months, and some employees of enterprises were on vacation, which was also short of manpower. They can provide a certain number of internships and part-time jobs for college students and enjoy the preferential tax policies of the state. Therefore, enterprises also welcome college students to practice and work. Enterprises (or scientific research institutes in colleges and universities) are paid for both internships and part-time jobs.

In the summer of 2000, Qian Zhenyu went to the research institute of Bosch Group for the first time as an intern. Experts first taught him to master some related basic knowledge and operational skills. After he took up his post, he was mainly responsible for measuring data and making analysis. Because of his eagerness to learn and diligence, the college is very satisfied with him. After the internship, he signed a contract and hired him to work every year. The working hours are 40 hours a month and 480 hours a year, and the hourly remuneration is about 12 euros.

Food, shelter and transportation for studying in Germany

Qian Zhenyu calculated an economic account of studying in Germany: the living standard in Germany is high, but because international students don't have to pay tuition fees, they save a lot of money. If you don't have big expenses such as long-distance travel, you can generally save a little. A student studying in Germany spends about 800 euros a month, including 450 euros for rent (including water, electricity and heating) and 350 euros for food, clothing, housing and transportation. Calculated in one year, it will cost about 6,543.8+0,000 euros, which translates into about 6,543.8+0,000 euros.

When Qian Zhenyu was a freshman or sophomore at Stuttgart University, she lived in a student apartment, which saved money. Due to the shortage of student apartments, the school stipulates that students above junior year must rent a house outside by themselves. After his junior year, he finally found a rental house outside, a big room with kitchen and bathroom, with a monthly rent of 460 euros. He bought furniture, refrigerators, etc. A total of 1000 euros was spent, of which a small 38 cm color TV set cost two or three hundred euros, which was much more expensive than that in China.

Usually, Qian Zhenyu eats Chinese food at school and makes his own breakfast and dinner. He mainly eats bread jam and baked sausages, both of which are baked by himself in an induction cooker. Once or twice a month, good China students get together and take turns hosting. There are more than a dozen Asian restaurants in the center of Stuttgart, where you can buy many common dishes in China. Ordinary German wine costs three or four euros a bottle, but it is also very cheap.

Qian Zhenyu said that the place he rented later was a little far from the school, about 20 kilometers. Because you can take the subway and it is a new student ticket every semester, the travel cost can be greatly reduced.
