Taierzhuang has a long history. Taierzhuang was formed in Han Dynasty, developed in Yuan Dynasty and flourished in Ming and Qing Dynasties. "Yi County Records" records: "Taierzhuang crosses the canal, which is a place for north-south passage and business travel.
