After the manufacturing industry moved westward, Taiwan Province Province gave up the title of Toy Kingdom. However, one building block company survived the blow of giant rival Lego. Before science and programming education became the mainstream, they worked silently for more than 20 years. Now, not only makers love to use it, but even the founder of Acer personally comes to the door to find cooperation. It is the only toy brand in Taiwan Province Province, Kochi. It creates a big world for children with two centimeters of building blocks.

Toys, what magic is there? In the eyes of adults, it may be just a tool to pass the time, and it may be labeled as "poor game", but for children, the more important roles may be friends and enlighteners. Two or three years ago, the United States began to promote the "STEM" trend of thought. The so-called STEM refers to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. However, mathematics experts and professors pointed out the imbalance of science and engineering, and emphasized that art is also the basis of creative innovation, so they renamed it STEAM.

This steam tide not only prevails in Europe and America, but also gradually spreads eastward. China shouted to cultivate interdisciplinary "young makers" who are keen on science and practice, and Taiwan Province Province also focused on "programming education". When people expect more vivid and flexible teaching methods, STEAM not only affects students, teachers, parents and creative circles all over the world, but also responds to them.

Taiwan Province's Kochi Toys Company is a leader in this field. Founder Lin Wenbin is a serial entrepreneur. The first company assembled electronic watches in the jar processing zone, which coincided with the era when the electronic industry took off and operated well. However, after graduating from normal university, he always wanted to play a role in the field of education. He thought from the concept of clocks and watches that because of his creativity, he could make a basic component and combine toys with different shapes, but because there was no good connection between circles, he changed them into squares. More specifically, he thought of the design of "one convex and five concave". One side of the square is designed to be convex and can be spliced with the concave surfaces of other squares. This single-point bridge structure can create the greatest variability in three-dimensional space, and in this way, Gao Zhi was established.
