What does compulsory education mean?
This is the provision of article 76.

To take compulsory education measures in accordance with state regulations now means to carry out reeducation through labor in accordance with relevant state regulations.

At present, the National People's Congress is preparing to formulate a unified law, the Law on the Correction of Illegal Acts, which specifically stipulates compulsory education measures. All compulsory education measures, such as reeducation through labor and shelter education, will be considered together, and the applicable behaviors and objects will be standardized, and the competent departments and procedures for making corrective decisions will be unified. Therefore, this legislation is linked to the Law on the Correction of Illegal Acts to be formulated in the future, which repeatedly teaches people to seduce, introduce, shelter prostitution, sell obscene articles and gamble.
