There are ten first-class doctoral programs in water conservancy, civil engineering, control, electronics, instruments, machinery, business administration, management science and engineering, materials and environment, covering about thirty or forty doctoral programs in two disciplines.

There are about three doctoral programs in the two disciplines without first-class disciplines: agricultural water, power electronics (approved as a postdoctoral mobile station for first-class disciplines of electrical engineering in 2000) and ideological and political education.
