TED stands for technology, entertainment and design. It is a private non-profit organization in the United States, whose purpose is to "change the world with the power of ideas". 1984 TED was founded by Richard Wurman, an American architect and designer, to explore innovations in the fields of technology, entertainment and design.
The real explosion of TED began in 2006. At that time, Anderson made a bold decision to put the offline TED conference online, so that everyone could watch the TED talk video online for free. It was this decision that made the TED conference spread like a virus.
Nowadays, people who speak on the TED platform are no longer limited to technology, entertainment and design. More and more people who rose rapidly in the 2 1 century came here, involving various fields: urban theorists, "opinion leaders", inspirational speakers, physicists, neuroscientists, philosophers and so on. And those who have climbed to the top in their respective fields.
