(2) They are all professional technical schools, mainly focusing on foreign languages and military affairs, which embodies narrow practicality. (3) Maintain the management tradition of the old official school, but the power is mostly controlled by foreigners. (4) Learning Confucian classics while learning western language arts. Despite these limitations, Westernization School is the earliest modern school run by China people, which has trained a group of talents with professional knowledge and technology and modern new ideas, and initially possessed the characteristics of modern education.
