(1) "exam-oriented education" is an excellent education for a small number of students, with the entrance examination as the goal and the enrollment rate as the fundamental basis for educational evaluation. It is reflected in school sports. On the one hand, only a few top athletes in school sports teams aim at winning the championship in the sports meeting, and the number of champions is the main basis for evaluating school sports work. This is the so-called "elite sports", which fundamentally deviates from the direction that school sports should be "for all students". On the other hand, in junior high school physical education teaching, in order to cope with the entrance examination for junior high school graduates, we ignore the physical education syllabus and practice casually, ignoring the overall improvement of students' physical quality.
(2) "Exam-oriented education" is just a mode to cope with exams, which ignores the cultivation of students' personal interests, hobbies and specialties and suppresses the development of students' personality. Its reflection in school physical education is that it unilaterally emphasizes the so-called national and social needs and unified requirements, and adopts a standard, a norm, a "one size fits all" and a "rush March" approach to school physical education and students' physical education learning and exercise.
(3) "exam-oriented education" is about intellectual education. In intellectual education, in order to cope with the exam, only the memory and recitation of knowledge are emphasized, which affects the all-round development of students' morality, intelligence and physique, and affects the improvement of students' basic quality and the cultivation of their learning ability. Its reflection in school sports mainly focuses on the teaching of competitive sports skills, aiming at technical evaluation and reaching the standard, ignoring students' overall physical exercise, learning sports knowledge and fitness methods, and cultivating lifelong sports consciousness and ability.
(4) "Exam-oriented education" pursues the enrollment rate unilaterally, so as to ensure that a few "learning talents" enter colleges and universities as the starting point and destination of various courses teaching. In order to cope with the entrance examination, we should increase the learning content at will, speed up the teaching progress, increase the learning difficulty and increase the homework, so that most students are in the position of "accompanying students", which has seriously dampened the enthusiasm of the majority of students, made some students feel learning difficulties, overburdened, and even bored with learning, and caused the psychological abnormality of failure because of the failure of the examination. The reflection of this situation in school physical education is that a considerable number of students can't meet the teaching requirements of textbooks and can't keep up with the teaching progress, so they feel the pain of "not doing it themselves" because they can't complete the technical movements. Due to numerous failures in physical education, they lost their interest and confidence in learning physical education, which further destroyed the psychological quality of students' self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement.
