The core of Rousseau's naturalism education is "returning to nature", that is, education must conform to nature, humanity and the development of children's nature.

On the one hand, he believes that human goodness exists in a pure natural state. On the other hand, Rousseau demonstrated that education must return to nature from various influences on children. He said that everyone is trained by nature education, diet education and humanities education, and the combination of the three can achieve the expected goal. Therefore, education "returning to nature", that is, education based on nature, is a good and effective education.

So what is the training goal of his naturalism education? The ultimate goal of Rousseau's naturalism education is "natural person", and natural person is an independent person; In the natural order, all people are equal; A natural person is a free person; Natural person or self-reliant person. In a word, a natural person is independent, equal, free, moral, highly capable and intelligent compared with the citizens of an authoritarian country.

What about the method and principle? The implementation of passive natural education means that adults do not interfere, indoctrinate or suppress, let children develop naturally, pay attention to the individual differences of children's nature, and demand teaching in accordance with their aptitude.

So how to implement naturalism education? Rousseau divided education into four stages. The first stage is the education in infancy (0~2 years old), which mainly develops physical fitness and physical education. The second period is childhood. From two years old to 12 years old, the main development is sensory education. Rousseau paid attention to sensory training and physical development during this period.

Develop intellectual education and labor education. The fourth stage is adolescent education, the age is 15~20 years old, and the main development in this period is moral education.
