Reading is the most romantic accomplishment.
Reading is the most romantic upbringing. It is a diary of parent-child communication written by Li Weiwen and his twin daughters. Li Weiwen is a doctor in Taiwan Province Province. In his own words, this book shares the real situation of his family life with readers with the feeling of being exposed by a savage.

Because there are two children at home, I often read books on parenting, so as to adjust myself from time to time and learn from others' experience, so I think it is enough to learn one or two good ideas from one book. Many teaching methods of Dr. Li in this book are the same as mine. Of course, there are many places to learn from him.

This book is divided into four parts.

The first part is the preface, which tells how to guide children into the reading world. When preschool children don't understand, they rely on parent-child reading to convey their parents' love to their children. After school, books at home should be everywhere, and parents must have their own habit of reading, so as to drive their children to really love reading.

I can do this for my parents. You can read your favorite books, explain the plot to your children, let them have a simple concept of this book, or read books that need to be recommended to your children, thus tempting them to read.

Abandon the temptation of electronic products at home. Dr. Li sent away the TV at home when the child was born, allowing the whole family to quietly enter the beautiful world of books. Actually, it's funny. The TV at home is only turned on twice a year, once for the Spring Festival party and once for the first class in September/kloc-0. I haven't watched TV for more than 20 years, so my children don't have the habit of turning on TV on their own initiative. In their spare time, they will pick up a book from the sofa, coffee table, bookcase and bedside table to read.

Many parents have questioned me, why does your baby like reading so much? To put it bluntly, habits are gradually cultivated by parents. During the four-month coronavirus holiday this year, my first-grade daughter has read more than 80 books, about14 million words, far exceeding the requirements of nine-year compulsory education for children to read, and all books are read spontaneously.

Reading is an input process. With input, there will be output, and output is our writing. How to train children from reading to writing? Dr. Li's method is to let children ask questions. Let children ask questions through the temptation of various Japanese dramas. When they ask questions, they have a basis for thinking, and they can naturally write them out!

Personally, my method of writing this article is relatively simple. Children should read more books and think more. Nature is like talking about the East and the West every day. I encourage children to write down what they say, keep a diary, accumulate materials and encourage them constantly, so that their interest in writing is cultivated. Now my first-grade daughter has started to write novels, and I am very supportive!

In the second article, Dr. Li tells us why we study. This paper expounds from several aspects that learning is that we are constantly investing in ourselves and living a happier future. Examination is to find the right solution to our life through tempering. For the endless pressure of exams, sometimes we can temporarily put the exams aside, relax appropriately, and master a rhythm that suits us. Learn to teach yourself and master a set of learning methods that suit you.

In this area, there is a learning method that I deeply feel. I especially mentioned that Dr. Li studied very well in junior high school, and the relaxed environment and the participation of various associations led to a mess in his grades. Liberal arts can make up for it temporarily, but science is not so easy, but Dr. Li has also found a very good way to improve his math scores.

When Dr. Li was in senior three, he used six math textbooks as novels. Because the textbook was very big and there were not many words, he finished it quickly. If you don't understand, just read it several times, just don't read it, but you should think while watching it. Then find a general review reference book with detailed answering process and multiple-choice questions, and find the thinnest and most pleasing one. Reading only takes no time to calculate, so it may take someone 30 minutes to calculate a question, and he only needs 1 minute to understand the answer, so in the same time, he can always review and choose topics dozens of times more than others.

Why should I mention this learning method here? It is also a coincidence. My eldest daughter is in grade two, and both Chinese and English are the first in grade one. It's just that her math score is only a few points higher than the average. When she entered the second semester of Senior Two, she studied mathematics in this way. Now her grades have been ranked first in the class twice in a row, so Dr. Li's learning method is exactly the same as her daughter's.

Looking back 20 years ago, many of my own academic qualifications and professional titles were tested in the same way. There are not many exercises to do, and there are no cram schools to attend. At that time, I successfully read twenty or thirty books by myself.

In the third part, Dr. Li talked about parents, who are our closest partners. Love can nourish people's hearts, whether adults or children. Love is the most obvious in the family. The love between husband and wife and the harmony of family have a far-reaching influence on children. Being born in a family affects a child's life. The wonderful time of following parents in childhood will become the treasure of children's lifelong love. Every parent has the obligation to create time for the whole family to live together.

Dr. Li travels and goes to the movies, which is also a way I adopt. There are several family trips every year, two or three times a month, and a good habit of watching a movie together every week.

The fourth article is about reading life, reading life! Dr. Li has a lot to learn. He consciously cultivates children's abilities through books, movies and Japanese dramas.

I recommend you to read this book, especially the fourth part. There are many books, music and movies that can be directly used for children's education!
