1, No.1 Middle School in Guangnan County, Yunnan Province, was founded in 1933, then called "Guangnan County Junior Middle School", and enrolled 17 classes before the founding of the People's Republic of China. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was renamed "Guangnan County Junior High School in Yunnan Province". 1952 established a high school, and 1955 changed its name to "Guangnan Middle School in Yunnan Province", which was one of the only two complete middle schools in Wenshan at that time.

1958, middle schools such as Zhu Lin and Babao were established in this county. The following year, the Provincial Department of Education renamed Guangnan Middle School as "No.1 Middle School in Guangnan County, Yunnan Province", which was managed by the county.
