How to Cultivate Students' Interest in Learning Music
First, establish a harmonious relationship between teachers and students, create a pleasant learning atmosphere, and let students like music.
In the teaching of music appreciation, teachers encourage and support all students to discuss and solve their various understandings, ideas and problems about the works. Teachers put down their majestic appearance, talk with students, understand their needs, and give each student a chance to fully express their feelings, and they are willing to speak freely. Art appreciation is also an aesthetic process, which should give students visual harmony. Teachers' clothing should be decent and elegant; Teaching is natural and demonstration action is aesthetic; Carry out "smile teaching", and so on. In short, make students like you as much as possible. Create a friendly, relaxed and pleasant learning atmosphere between teachers and students. Dewey, an educator, said that the teaching process should be "a real process in which teachers and students participate together, and a real mutual process of happy cooperation".

Influenced by the social environment and other comprehensive factors, most students are keen on pop music, and idolization is common. Beijing opera, but little is known, and even has a sense of strangeness and distance. For example, when I enjoyed the section "Watching the king sleep soundly in his curtain" in Beijing Opera, I posted some stills in the classroom before class to create a theater atmosphere in the classroom. I also invited some students to follow the rhythm of gongs and drums. Although the movements are simple, students' interest is high and the classroom atmosphere is active. Unconsciously, while enjoying the experience happily, the students also learned relevant knowledge. For another example, while enjoying the "African Song and Dance Music" section, in order to let students know more about African drums and their rhythms, as well as the characteristics of African music, I asked students to improvise "Catch Dragons with Drums" along with "encouraging" dance music. Students improvise the rhythm of a phrase, and the students behind them relay the rhythm of the next phrase, inspiring students to reflect and emphasize the expressive and unique rhythm of African music by clapping their hands, stamping their feet and percussion instruments. Through this design, students can enjoy the joy of performance and experience the joy brought by music.
In short, students' interest in learning is not innate, but can be guided and stimulated. In a music class, if teachers can make full use of various teaching methods scientifically, so as to enjoy teaching and learning easily, students will be able to soar freely in the vast music sky, and our music class will surely become their sacred palace.
