I quite agree with the view that the original intention and purpose of education can't just look at scores.

In order to get better grades, many parents let their children attend many cram schools or remedial classes, hoping to raise their children's test scores to another level in this way. However, this has created a bad atmosphere in society in which students study only for exam scores. If we only think that learning is only for grades, then such education is a failure, because the original intention and purpose of education is more to let students master better survival and life skills, as well as the cultivation and connotation of being a man.

First, it is impossible to realize the importance of education in life just by looking at scores. Good study and education can make children become better people. Excellent people are different from those who get high marks. Because in the tide of society, people who get high marks do not mean that they can be welcomed by everyone in society. If we can't get a foothold in the society successfully, it won't help us get higher marks. A good education can not only enable us to master professional knowledge, but also strengthen our ability to communicate with others.

Second, studying only by grades is just studying hard. Although high marks can play a great role in our student life, it does not mean that high marks can determine our final grades and life achievements. Just learning to improve your grades can't broaden your horizons. Once you encounter any setbacks, you simply don't know how to be flexible. So the way of studying hard can only turn us into examination machines, so we must master the learning methods and modes flexibly.

Third, just looking at the score will keep the child in a state of high pressure. In order to improve their test scores, students will have less and less entertainment time, which is not conducive to their growth and progress. Moreover, if students are under increasing pressure, it will also have a very bad impact on their mental health. Once students encounter any setbacks, it will undoubtedly cause a huge internal blow to students. Therefore, parents should consider making students study happily.

Of course, to get rid of the bad social atmosphere that learning only depends on grades, schools and parents need to work together. If parents just want to improve their children's academic performance blindly, it will undoubtedly be a strong destruction for their children's growth. Moreover, schools also have the obligation and responsibility to supervise students and create a good learning environment and atmosphere. If you just study blindly, then the future of students will not be too bright.
