Xu Teli (1877 February1-1968165438+1October 28), also known as Mao Yao, a revolutionary educator in China, was born in Hunan (now Jiangbei Town, Changsha County). Known as one of the "Five Old Men in Yan 'an".
19 1 1 participated in the Revolution of 1911, 1927 participated in the Nanchang Uprising in August. 1 1934 participated in the Long March. After the founding of New China, he was a member of the Central People's Government Committee. 1968 165438+ died in Beijing on1October 28th at the age of 9 1.
Most of his works are collected in Collected Works of Xu Teli's Education and Collected Works of Xu Teli. He once commented that he was "an outstanding revolutionary educator in China" and "assiduously learned from himself and taught others".
Fundraising:
Xu Teli himself likes to collect books, and half of his early teaching income was to buy books. Before the Great Revolution, there was a rich collection of books here, but later, many books were lost because of the war. From Yan 'an period to before liberation, there were more than 20,000 books, including Chinese and foreign books and periodicals on social science and natural science.
There are more than 5,000 kinds of bound books, 5,600 kinds of old and new paperbacks, 3,000 kinds of foreign language books, 1800 kinds of newspapers and periodicals, as well as maps and pictures. There are many eyebrows and notes in the book. All the books in the collection were donated to the country. 1983 arrived in Changsha and handed over to Hunan Library for preservation.
