The awarding ceremony of "Harmony between Man and Nature" was held in Changsha Veteran Cadres Activity Center. Dong Student, director of the Municipal Working Committee, and Liu Yaojie, executive deputy director, attended the meeting. The contest was jointly sponsored by the Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, the Municipal Commission of Work, the Municipal Education Bureau and the Municipal Civilization Office. The theme of the contest is "Harmony between Man and Nature". The purpose is to encourage minors to participate in environmental protection actions to protect the ecology and defend their homes in the form of hand-drawn cartoons, enhance their sense of social responsibility, mission and pride, and guide them to be witnesses, builders and practitioners of beautiful China.
