Anqing Normal University is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning directly under the Anhui Provincial People's Government. The school has two campuses, Longshan and Linghu, covering an area of 2,844 mu. There are 17 secondary colleges, 8 1 undergraduate majors,1/first-class academic master's degree authorization points and 7 professional master's degree authorization categories. There are more than 65,438 faculty members and 654,300 full-time students.

School history:

Anqing Teachers College 1897 was founded in Jingfu Academy, then merged with Qiushi School to form Anhui University Hall, and later changed to Anhui Ordnance School, Anhui Army School and Anhui College of Political Science and Law. 1928, the provincial Anhui university was established here; 1946 changed to National Anhui University.

1949 was changed to the third branch of the PLA naval joint school. From 1958, it was gradually changed to Anhui Normal University, Anqing Teaching Point of Anhui Normal University and Anqing Branch of Anhui Normal University. 1980 Anqing normal college was established on the basis of Anqing branch of Anhui normal university; 20 16 was renamed Anqing Teachers College with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
