What courses are there for pre-school education majors in five-year compulsory education?
For the five-year preschool education major, each province makes its own teaching plan according to the requirements of the syllabus of the Ministry of Education. Therefore, the curriculum in each province is slightly different. The following are five-year preschool education courses in a province, for reference only:

(1) required course

Grade one to grade three are compulsory courses. Compulsory courses include basic cultural courses, professional theory courses and professional skills courses. Among them, the basic cultural courses mainly include Chinese, mathematics, English, politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology, modern educational technology, physical education and so on. Professional theoretical courses mainly include pre-school hygiene, preschool psychology, pre-school pedagogy, kindergarten education activity design, etc. Professional skills courses mainly include basic music theory, vocal music, dance, piano, gymnastics, art and so on.

(2) Elective courses

Elective courses mainly include cultural foundation, professional theory and professional skills.

Cultural basis: appreciation of Chinese and foreign famous works, English listening and speaking, art appreciation, mental health education for college students, and introduction to natural science.

Professional theory: family education, eugenics, English education for pre-school children, guidance of kindergarten scientific and technological activities, preschool game theory, kindergarten management, kindergarten curriculum, guidance of parent-child activities.

Professional skills: aerobics, children's dance creation, Go, computer art, computer music production, multimedia courseware production, manual production, electronic piano, calligraphy, stick figure.

(3) Activity courses

Activity courses are mainly arranged after class. Activity classes include subject activities, class activities, interest group activities, visits, lectures, various competitions, social surveys and other forms to give full play to students' autonomy and initiative, and cultivate students' abilities of self-education, self-management, self-service and self-development.

Practical course

Practical courses mainly include military training, social welfare activities, visits and research, educational practice and preschool education and scientific research practice, so as to promote students to understand society, kindergartens and young children, consolidate professional ideas, confirm theoretical knowledge, learn and master educational laws, and cultivate students to engage in preschool education and kindergarten management and have preliminary educational and scientific research ability.
