Family care and support
Parents should give their children full care and support, help them build up self-confidence and overcome inferiority and nervousness. When communicating with children, please slow down and guide them to speak slowly in a peaceful tone.
Educational guidance and corrective training
Avoid forcing children to memorize long stories or poems beyond their oral expression ability. Parents, teachers and people around them should give their children warmth and encouragement, and don't make fun of, laugh at or deliberately imitate their stuttering. Parents are requested to patiently accompany their children for corrective training, and each time should not be too long, just 20-30 minutes.
Observe the living environment
Observe the children's living environment and see if there are people who stutter often. If so, please try to avoid children spending too much time with them. If you don't have this situation around you, it is recommended to take your child to the hospital for examination to find out the specific reasons for stuttering.
