1. The Department of Humanities Education of National Open University was established on July 20 17 18. It is formed by the merger of the College of Art Design and Animation, the Social Art Education Curriculum Development Center, the Office and Project Development Office, and the College of Arts, the School of Media and the Department of Ideological and Political Education of the former Department of Legal Education.

The Department of Education and Teaching of the Open University of China is committed to cultivating professionals in the fields of "education and physical education, public management and services, science and mathematics", and taking the mission of improving the literacy of educational administrators and teachers in primary and secondary schools, kindergartens and social educational institutions as well as carrying out continuing education with academic qualifications and non-academic qualifications.
